Sooo, I can tinker on the 767-300ER (which I have to rename because Tikibar used the same name for his 767-300ER), Tikibar's 767-300ER which, as all of his planes just flies right out of the box, or maybe give my 747-VVIP a spin since I didn't fly her in the Heads of State leg or the Lineage which can make it basically barely with scratching the ETOPS reserve by five minutes. Or I overcome my inner hound dog and look what is wrong with the center tank of the 707. Decisions, decisions!

Well if you check what's wrong in the 707's it'd be very appreciated, me and Josh tried loads of times to fix it but didn't succeed at that.

The same problem, the center tank isn't used?

Okay, a quick look in the fuel-and-payload.nas tells me, part of the problem is, the 4 main tanks don't identify themselves as fuel-takers and thus, no crossfeed happens.
But, if the schematics on the engineer's panel is correct, the fuel from the center tank shouldn't go to those tanks anyway but directly to the engines. I can't find in the hurry any docu which would be the correct way to fix that (means, pump fuel to the main tanks and from there to the engines or feed engines directly) and I have a Skype in a few, so, if someone has something and can tell me, then we get that next week off the table.

I have a 707 with what I think is a working crossfed fuel system. It matches the lines on the panel anyway.

It was just something I did for myself and I didn't attempt to get it merged. I believe there are efforts ongoing to fix it in FGADDON.

I think I tweaked a few other things too, certainly some things in the autopilot, and I made the DME 4 digits.

EDIT: This is how the fuel system is supposed to work, AFAIK.

Thanks!
This is, what the engineer is supposed to switch in those situations, there is afaik know, no automatic. So you fed from the center tank into the engines? That makes sense, but it would need either dummy tanks or some JSB-fuel play. I can switch the whole center tank via priority 0/1, but I can't switch it per engine. How did you solve that? Or, if you are willing to merge, which of the man 707s is yours?

I can't remember what I did, but it was all Nasal.

I know I took out all the property interpolation because the needles jitter. I think it was something to do with continuing to feed the engines from the main tanks but balancing the outflow with inflow from the center tank when the crossfeeds are open, thereby simulating feeding the engines from the center tank. It's discrete rather than continuous so it's not 100% accurate but there isn't much drift on the quantities in the main tanks.

I forked it in Sep 2014 so there could be some merge challenges. I'll put it up on Github tomorrow with the commit history and send you a link.
