I'm sorry, he said that I wasn't to share it publically (ie. if you must share it, share it privately). Check your private messages.

You guys are all way to intrigued by this. I bet there is not much wool on those private messages. I am not in the least curious.

Kind regards, Vincent

You know his posts bore me.... I mean why say something with one sentence when you can say it with 20.

I'm not reading it and I'm not dropping you in it by posting it....

Hooray should have more backbone instead of playing both sides....

No doubt he'll say he doesn't want to be on any side.... well I think that boats well and truly sailed.

I despise anyone that says one thing publically and then another thing privately. ..

Simon.

I think that if you read the message, you'd find that he says that he doesn't quite disagree with some things in this letter.

Hooray wrote:ok, fine ... btw, I read DrDavid's "open letter", I don't agree with the attitude and accusations (hey, even Curt is just a human being after all), but the "youth aspect" somehow rings a bell:

In other words, I don't disagree with the key message here (which may make me different from others who are considered to be part of the establishment), but there are certain rules to be followed - regardless of your age.

And if you do want to share this, please don't do it in public - I don't want to see my PMs cross-posted over there, all those Nazi-comparisons ("Eichmann") are getting really old...

Don't blame me of lack of integrity. I did not promise anyone any reserve on this issue

And where is Hooray getting so much secrecy. I thought this is (or was) his signature

Is that image representing the rules you are talking about? In an opensource community of volunteers?

Hmmm Iahm-col, you may not have had a promise, but you compromised Legoboys promise...

Kind regards, Vincent

His promise. Not mine.
Like in the Airbus 330 case.
He promised not sharing the code. But it does not mean that If I get the code, I will be bound to his promise.

Now, If I interpret correctly, legoboy implied that Hooray accepted him to distribute such message privately, which he did. He did sent stuff privately. So, the way I see it, he was strong on his word.
