By the authors nothing about FS2004 or 3D model only the makers of the FDM and Liveries (only one, others are from FS2004 also).

But on the bright side, I think you should be able to make a GPL livery. Those stand by themselves as well... so...
If you do it from scratch (even using a GPLed paintkit, or a GPLed livery) you should be good. (I think)

About those FS2004 converted aircraft ... always check whether the models are elsewhere under GPL. Some people made planes for FS2004, FSX and so on based on GPL models and only some of their additions are non-GPL.

Some guy at KSFO gave me a really nice idea.

As we approach the departing time, we being to see the predicted weather conditions for our helies journey.
So far so good

We have VFR conditions in our departing airport in Charlotte, with winds expected from Northwest, departing straight ahead toward the Appalachians. No clouds.

The information around Logan Airport, nearby to Mingo County's KEBD is equally confortable. Winds from Northwest at about 8KTS. clear skies. VFR conditions.

For our final arrival to Rickenbacker, we find winds from SE at 9 Kts. acceptable visibility. Few to Scattered clouds with a 4000 ceiling.

Thus it seems everything is coming along really nicely for our VFR plans, and we may not need to resort to rescue with NDBs. This is great for a heli flight with good visuals on the Appalacchian peaks and the Ohio Valleys. Visibility is also expected to be good, and VFR conditions able to be maintained for the durations of our flight --if conditions do not worsen. Also noteworthy, for most of our flight we are expecting headwinds of about 5-8 Kts, and after that, just for arrival a few tailwind help. Overall -- beautiful conditions for flight are expected for our squad.
