@SM

Here you have it:

TRACKER by IH-COL YSSY-NZQN, Fokker 100

I am guilty of my landing failure. I modify the spring coefficients of the gear trying to make it able to taxi, but I caused ridiculous bounciness, the plane does not stick to the rwy. Has massive springs instead of gear :mrgreen: :geek: :ugeek: :twisted:

But nonetheless, see image above as a demostration of a good VOR-DME C approaching.

Thanks to all pilots for participating. It was a fun event albeit the low vis at Queenstown.
Looking forward to the next leg.

@IAHM-COL Yep, really nice app. Sad about that gear issue. You put it right on the TDZ, and at perfect speed. So, I would count that as a pass ;)

Here is mine.

One of the announcing posts said this:

Details on the App

Approach to be attempted : VOR-DME C Approach
http://www.aip.net.nz/pdf/NZQN_43.1_43.2.pdf

A Video on the approach:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sInOI0HqCQ

It says "A Video on the approach". In that film the descent is made through the 260 degrees valley. So i was convinced that that is what was wanted, and i did so.

The descent through the valley was all the way through a thick overcast of clouds, with even at 4000 feet no visibility at all. So i could choose not to land, or quickly switch to fair weather just before the runway. I did the second.

Kind regards, Vincent
