user's espionage

For what I read now, the core developers are actively engaging in FG user's espionage using backlogs from terrasync data.

I am glad I can have a transparent and no-spying system to have FG scenery as well.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

I agree that this is the most annoying bug.
Are you sure you have DEM data for all areas and did run hgtchop and terrafit for all tiles ?
maybe it's a side effect of using different parameters compared to WS 2.0

Third, I'd like to include the additional software layers that are new in terrasync, like OSM.
I am just giving the core-devs some time to figure out exactly how that'll go at the end.

I would not wait for that.
Let's try to fix the elevation and wrong water issue - then we'll have a very nice and & up to date scenery. If you tell me the parameters you use or mail me your scripts then I can build Denver on my PC and see how it looks.

you can convert from .hgt to a grayscale image - that way it will be easy to find elevation bugs
if they are in hgt files.

I was already starting to think this is the case :S
That's annoying. Changing the default parameters have as goal to reduce the size and computational weight of the generated scenery

Is it maybe the culprit?
I'll do some tests.

I've got exact result in 2 computers: Marvin and my personal laptop.

would you like to build SBYS for RenanMsV ?

UPDATE:
I just made it for him:

btw:
SBST looks very nice in TerraGIT!

I've installed the Singapore scenery tile (e100n00) just now, and I have to say it's a bit messed up:

Airport is flooded with terrain, and some scenery parts are underwater as you can see. Is it only me or is it global?
I need to have this scenery right before my World Tour ends there.

Tried to reinstall it and this is what I get (alongside with latest objects):

Please help me.

I'm not using TerraGit itself, I just download the tiles and add them to what was the TerraSync folder.
Cheers, Mav

I've got no clue of what you are doing or why do you think it should work.
But if you want to use terrasync, and have a patch for WSSS, I suggest you use the normal way with:

Much better now, I've also removed all those OSM buildings (which you still can see in this pic):
