Icecream

Postby legoboyvdlp » Wed Nov 25, 2015 2:39 am

The answer to everything is..... icecream!
Now, maybe not on a cold winters night.
But what about on a hot summer day?

Even better, put some coffee into the refrigerator, then put icecream on top with ice.
Ahhhhhhh.

Now, I love Mauds.
Give me a Pooh Bear 99 cone, double scoop, and I'm your friend for life.
Especially from Portstewart. Now, if you ever visit Port Stewart, go to the shop just down the road from the kids play park. Wonderful icecream.

My flavors are TioRico Chocolate (no other companies.... don't like the flavour, but Tio Rcio is nice), Mauds 99 or Vanilla, or Bannana, or Mint Choc, any Mint Choc, and Toffee.

I don't particularly think I'd enjoy a $1000 sundae with edible 23K gold. Neither would my wallet.

And this $25k creation looks vile.

I rather like my moosetracks ice cream--chocolate or vanilla with peanut butter cups and large (up to 2 inches long in some cases) chunks of fudge.

Over the years i kind of slowly quit eating sweet. Resulting in that i really do not like it anymore. Specifically ice cream is almost pure sugar. When i get that, i do not it eat it. It just hurts my whole body. I'd rather have a nice fried chicken leg.

Kind regards, Vincent

Yeah, people tend to do take less sweet when they get older. Tastes change over time.

I do take ice cream. Once or twice a year, maybe. And while I like those brands like Häagen-Dazs, they are much too expensive for me, so I go with Wall's, they are reasonably cheap and taste pretty good for its price. And nothing else lower than that, most of the other brands sold here (local brands, or localized tastes) just don't taste very good.

As a child growing up, there was a shopkeeper in my town that made their own ice cream at a coffeeshop in town. The owner closed shop :( and retired for a number of years when I can finally pay for myself after getting a job, and he passed away a few years after that. I can never find the taste today ever again. It's memories now.

My son gets ice cream once every weekend, after his swimming. I believe that amount is on the low side for children but I don't know for sure.
