Who is dividing the community really?

Since IAHM-COL, SHM, and I are kind of cut off from the "official" world by royal decree of King Curt and his chancelor Grima-Snake-Tongue ...[ oh wait, wrong story ] ... we are sometimes a little confused and have to ask those who have still access about what is going on.

So many people say after a suicide happened to someone they know: "I did not see that coming, i had no clue. But now in retrospect i can see all the signals that have been there all along". This tells me that if you do see some signals (and there are a couple here), there is no option than to take them seriously. After all we are not psychologists, who may be able to judge the situation. Better be safe than sorry as IAHM-COL said.

What i do not find being safe, is to broadly discuss someones condition on a public forum, with name and all. It can be just the thing that tips the scale. We do not want to hear later that something happened due to our discussing, do we?

Kind regards, Vincent

Thats the post. You are probably better off reading the entire topic first tho.

But he says specifically that he's not going to commit suicide in that post.

At which point you'd think in polite society you'd take that into account when comprehending what's he's writen and when replying.

I don't see that having taken place.... but not to worry as he's not longer a member of the forum.

Highlighting this post as an example just goes to show how pig ignorant some people are.

But if you look beyond language there is still the question of why he is saying what he is saying. Is he really depressed and potentially suicidal, or is he just a guy who thinks the entire universe revolves around him. Hard to tell.
