Folks, I may be away all day tomorrow.
Electric rationing. Has been going on since 2009 off and on... since March, electricity goes 2 hours every three days. This week it has gone every day. Tomorrow apparently it will go from 4 AM to 4 PM.

And then of course, Venezuela is like a pressure cooker waiting to explode and ifsomething happens, internet will likely be down.

This is the main electric source of the country.



2009, 2010, 2012, and 2015 have been dryer than normal -- in 2009 and 2015 it only rained in one month sporadicaly. None of the usual 72 hour showers, 2 hour thunderstorms, water of 2 inches in the streets, or zinc corrugated roofs flying through the air (attached by wire to a house made of the same material). We hope 2016 will be better, but meanwhile, the reservoir is in Critical state.

You think with all the oil your country exports there would be big diesel or black oil back up generators to take up the slack.

You'd think, indeed. And there are some. But not enough.

Has it gotten worse?!
