The building glows indeed.
But it should be less than the 727 and the C-5
For the planes I already worked out the fix. Its just a matter of pushing the fixes

The building's are expected to glow as they do. Make for much more realistic experience of flight at night. The buildings go darker on the distance and brighter as you approach them, with a very compelling effect

@Lego, did you try the test scenery out or just look at firefly's screenshots?
If you tested; how is your fps?

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

Thats great.
Nope, no link yet (?)
Or is there, and I missed it?
But, see eg. http://forum.flightgear.org/viewtopic.p ... 60#p173500 , how windows glow, but terminal glows only in places...?
Glad to know that it is expected

yup. I know how to apply lightmaps. But I'm working strategies to gain a realistic experience but a more resource friendly place.

There are tons of buildings and textures in geneve; and with the current setup there is zero performance impact virtually; which is more critical for people like you and Simbambim.

I'll private email you a test link --with a condition. Do you mind send me your address?

What's the condition? : Help me test performance in your computer, and report back to me.
I need your case scenerio (as with Simbambim) because you guys have low end-graphic machines, and thus you fly the bottlenecks.

My speculation is that , as it is right now you are safe and the scenery is sound

Almost there.

Doing optimization of performance as we speak. That part is critical :ugeek:
