If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

I checked the AI jetways @ EGPH.
With my FG of January 2016 everything works fine.
With current FG they appear normally (on the ground) when you remove the static models in 2892922.stg
but the can not dock to aircraft anymore :-(

jetways.nas is the same file.

Code: Select all

loadxml: reading 'Path "/SDB2/scenery/London-fg-CustomScenery/Models/Airport/Jetway/EGLL_gate.xml"' denied (unauthorized directory - authorization no longer follows symlinks; to authorize reading additional directories, add them to --fg-aircraft)
savexml: writing to 'Path "/SDB2/dot-fgfs/runtime-jetways/19.xml"' denied (unauthorized directory - authorization no longer follows symlinks)

I added /SDB2/dot-fgfs/runtime-jetways/ to --fg-aircraft but that did not help.
:-(

I found same issue

Code: Select all

denied (unauthorized directory - authorization no longer follows symlinks; to authorize reading additional directories, add them to --fg-aircraft)

I also added .fgfs and .fgfs/runtime-jetways to --fg-aircraft.

It also did not help for me ... --- ...

The problem is not EGPH related. It fails on every airport with Animated jetways for me.

I changed jetways.nas
Line 442:

Code: Select all

 var runtime_file_path = home ~ "/Export/" ~ runtime_file ~ ".xml";

because FG is allowed to write to the Export dir.

after that in worked fine again at EGLL. but the "glass" jetway at EGPH is not clickable.
I think this is fixed in this model, but cannot remember 100% :

Did you remove the static?
The static is not clickable, but the one called by the jetway config file should be.

[EDIT]
I get you now
I'll test the fix soon
Thanks a lot

Hi All!

I just pushed an update to the development repository that includes the Cargo Aprons.
These include the Cargo Hangars, but also includes the Old tower, and the buildings that were the original construction of the Turnhouse RAF airbase, used since WWI.

To the testers,
Enjoy

Thanks D-Laser

Yes. I used blender, gimp and inkscape to model most of the buildings following the bird-sight of bing-maps. The terminal was modelled before and it was taken from terrasync, and then retexturized by me. The tower was modelled by D-ECHO completely. The cars are from your P3000.

The layout was WEDed by Legoboy.

So overall, it is a group effort.

Sure, we can add some of those barracks. Feel free to make modifications and push them to the repo :)
