Wow, flight gear. It’s been years since I was active there.

I hunted around and found my original sketch up files. Maybe these are of some use?

The file titled ‘KMIA’ is the main terminal sketch up file. The rest are hangers and some individual terminal parts as I think I was playing around with night textures but never finished it.

Hope these are of help. Feel free to do what you want with them! Would love to see them integrated onto Flight gear somehow after all these years.

I have downloaded the files and plan to have a look in Blender to see if I can finish it off :)

I also will have a look at QGIS and Florida to see if I can make Florida the most accurate state in the USA.

Not my work -- it does indeed, I don't think there is much to improve!

When you can, can you convert these from sketchup to ac or blend?
I dont have sketchup, but otherwise I can push these into KMIA really fast :)

With terraGIT I dont need to reformat textures, or separate buildings into their own object anymore :P

Hey lego! Nice work, hope to see it in TerraSync, you need a sketchup addon to convert it to .AC (search on the wiki), you need to be aware of the textures, in power of two, and with the same name the 3d object has. The total 3d (single) object weight limit for scenemodels is 1.3-1.5 MB, if larger, you need to split it or reduce faces/quality. There no limit (in MB) for textures.

That is going to be a though one, due to technical requirements to merge patched terrain upstream   :?
