it is not so hard, but certainly has quite a good number of steps, and it is easy to miss your way.

Here is a tutorial I made for making buildings and texturing them.

I made the Kansai In Flight Catering...
It looks good, but how can I tell FG to use the lightmap at night, and the ordinary texture in the day?

I never do that. I let the lightmap to shine 24/7 :P
You could try adding property-based conditionals on the xml. but :o  :ugeek:

It looks fine at night, but it looks ugly in the day. So I'd prefer to do the conditional. I'll see SVMI.
I get 13FPS, and I have a piece of utter abysmal toilet material as a computer, so there shouldn't be too much problem, unless someone plans to fly in with Windows XP 32 bit 500MB RAM and a GTX310?

I watched the first to make the lightmap. I'll look at the second. Thanks!

I just pushed shared models for part of the Cargo Apron -- the remote stands in the east of the cargo apron.
It looks nice. There is also one parking space filled with a 747-F to make it look less empty.
Then there are cargo loaders, containers, buses, etc. Please check it.

This Project is taking shape really rapidly... thanks to the help of all volunteers :D

Now, I recently installed the solar panels (as can be seen on landing attitude RWY 06L shots)

Also, you may say I'm energy-krazy. Cause the first things I made in Kansai were the fuel tanks, the fuel-bridge, and the solar panels... But someone has to make sure this thing has what it takes to keep running :D

Hi Israel
Nice job on the solar panels!
Just wondering -- could you review the shared models, make sure they are OK, not too many, not too little? Is it ok to add one or two static planes? Maybe two at the main terminal, one in the cargo apron, another in the remote parking or something....

Thanks a lot :)
