Uploaded the Fokker DR1 and the Curtiss JN-4 Jenny

http://www.mediafire.com/download/jw359lczufc3fle/fkdr1.zip

http://www.mediafire.com/download/25cshhdfvnr50mq/Curtiss-Jenny.zip

Both planes were previously GPL for 3D and .xml's, the textures should be considered Creative Commons no commercial use.

Man, did you have to make so many commits?
And will git submodule update update all my planes?
Or do I have to go to each one and git checkout master git pull?
Yes this makes no sense.
I tried to type the planes that were updated as they flooded past but....
Will do a git sub, odule update in the am, and maybe, it will be finished at 6pm, with my internet?

If you want to update ALL the FGMEMBERS aircraft in your FGDATA next with submodules, the recipe is:

Code: Select all

git pull
git submodule init .    #This takes care of initializing new aircraft
git submodule update
cd Aircraft-nonGPL
git submodule init .  #This takes care of initializing new nonGPL aircraft
git submodule update

That's how you will get ALL the aircraft new and previously installed, updated.

Basically--same old

But I 've just made a pointer for you to reffer to, each time as needed

Yes, it does make no sense. You are not supposed to git pull a submodule!

It should'nt happen.
Updating is not the same as cloning.

Cloning takes most of the time. You are copying ALL the data.
Updating (git pull or git submodule update) should be frantically much faster.
You are just downloading NEW stuff. The old stuff is not fetched again.

This is among MANY, one advantage of git over using download zip files. With a zip file you need to redownload the whole game content everytime you want to update. With git you just download what's new.

Yay!
I was seriously confused.
Problem is, I have not got all aircraft down yet (due to REALLY bad internet, so will clone he REALLY big ones first, like the P-51 and them...
