I have been following this discussion at the other end for a while now. And i am astonished at the level of understanding licenses. "No, if we do it via such and such program, the license disappears". Get real, the license is on the data, whatever program you use. How more imbicil can one get!

Kind regards, Vincent

Well. The V0 are public data available and GPLed

https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-TERRAGIT?u ... 3&query=v0

The problem is that the Custom landclasses (cs) are currently nowhere to be find. If FG uses these to distribute an scenery (or any part of it), by the license... If I read correctly, they are bound to release such sources by petition. Furthermore, fair game is that they are simply available skip the need to ask (as they used to be).

I say at least some terrasycn distributed scenerios are cs layers. Specific point: St. Marteen.

Now, in that topic we find the unexpected Thorsten looking for ways to find the loopholes in the licenses. (facepalm) --read Thorsten on interpreting "what is a source"?

Thorsten should not spread BS. The license is on the data, and that is it. Thorsten go cry in a corner.

Hi All
Statto found a copy of the St. Marteen Custom Scenery landclasses on his old HD files and kindly provided it to me.
I'll be patching terraGIT with the proper landclass, and making these landclasses available

I appreciate Sttato's gesture,
Best,
IH-COL

Thanks to Statto for releasing this material

Good that you got what should be according to license. At least there are some people with decent knowledge and the decency to comply.
