Sorry, i am a bit late with this months update. It should appear as soon as i do it, if there are objects that can be considered a building (something with a roof that can contain humans, except default towers which are too often misused)

Kind regards, Vincent

Yeah!. but on the great side of this, KL666 Map is my current best pointer to know what airports are newly build on Terrasync, and where I can target specifically to re=update terraGIT with terrasync without needing to place an spider-explorer in the whole dataset :D

For a TerraGIT variant, is there any chance to get a database like http interface that can respond me some attributes of latest objects, in say json? So i can query for the changes from the last timestamp i have untill now.

To give an idea of required fields:
- ob_id
- ob_text
- ob_model
- lon and lat, or geometry point
- date-time or timestamp of the last modification on the object
- indication of type of modification (insert, update, delete)
- any other indicators of validity of the object

Kind regards, Vincent

That's exactly the plan

You know, flightgear is switching terrasync to a http protocol now (instead of the traditional SVN)

We consider that mirroring terraGIT on an Apache server for http transfer will allow most users to just change the server from the official (terrasync) to the good one (terraGIT) and get an "on the fly" scenery download via the Flightgear binaries released by the core (FG 2016.2 and beyond)

That will also allow your scripts to exectue via http interface.

At this point the question is hosting. We are talking about 300GB of content. I know @Daweed offered some server capabilities for the Wiki, and I wonder if he is on the position to offer the server for an Apache mirror of terraGIT.

Otherwise, it is just the small technical things to be figure out.

IAHM-COL : Wiki offer is still open.
Hosting a wiki is a thing, offer 300 Gb ... an another.

I ll have a look on how many GB is still avail and i can offer on hosted server. (i am pretty sure to have this volume on my home servers, but bandwith will be a problem)

Will report asap
