FlightGear Rio is out today

Look in your app directory.
There could be a file there named output or log or something like that.
It should contain the content you would see printed in the console.

If you ran FG with terminal you will get the output piped into the console as you are used.
Remember, that the current tendency is to cater the un-technical users .

The --console flag used to display console in Windows was causing errors with STDERR, so they removed it to remove bugs.

I NEVER had this errors...

But if that was the reason I blame LAZY DEVELOPERS for remove a useful thing instead of fixing it...

STDERR is the default error output in a given OS. There's STDIN, STDOUT, and STDERR. If you open a console, what you type in goes into STDIN. If a program has output, it goes through STDOUT. STDOUT then gets displayed in the console. If the program has errors (and is written properly) it'll write those errors to STDERR.
