Glutton for punishment ... 747-8VIP and VVIP

Postby jwocky » Thu Oct 22, 2015 10:51 pm

In a case of temporary mental derangement I had last night nothing better to do than to create a new branch of the VIP on my computer (not uploaded yet, I have to figure out how first) and started to build a 747-8VVIP with JSB. She looks the same, she uses the same model, the only thing is, she will behave in slideslip situations, during sharp turns and in near to stall situations more like the real thing than Yasim can calculate and probably, I will also play around with mass points a little.
Get me right, she will probably not be available till Saturday, but she did this prenoon the first five minute flights (too early for extended test flights, there are still a lot nasal problems to solve). And she is also full integrated with the JPack, so, less initialization problems over the ever-changing world of FlightGear-versions. So, a lot of coffee, maybe I feel after "Sleepy Hollow" like plane tinkering, who knows?

Which brings me to the other plane in the VIP collection, the Lineage. She flies, but without JPack integration. So she will be one of the next ones on my work list. And who knows, maybe there will be another VIP version of another plane then to make the VIP collection grow a little?

I'd love the A319CJ, as a modification with the cool cockpit and canvas displays of the new A320canvas.
:)
And how about interiors?
I must say, gold and mahogany sounds nice.
Nice job on 747!

The ACJs are nice for those who like Airbus per se. With the interiors though, we have the same problem as with any other business jet - we have no furniture designer.

Ah, yes.
Well, I'm afraid I cannot help on that.

Humm, maybe, if I find me some models, you can help as interior decorator? But wait and see whether I find models. And in the 747, we need definitively someone putting some decks in it, I have a feeling, the ones we have are kind of weird positioned. Oh, and for people who are curious, google "Greenpoint", "747" and "elevator"

Well, decided to add the Atlas Air livery made by ACI for the basic 747-8i.
Looks good:

I'm scared of the early tikibar AP == the newer ones work much better. The one in this sometimes can't decide what he is doing.....

Well, do it for the current Yasim version. I will later come back to the problem when I finally do Jsb
