Re: Talking Festival 2017
I suggest, back into topic, to open polls from Nov26th to December 10th (?) Sounds good. Not everyone participating (flying) does a report. But I've seen traffic and know many of them. The festival participants are mainly European/American people. The time 16-24UTC is widely popular among both of t...

Adding HTTPS support to the forum
Since Google has announced that HTTP only pages will be eventually marked as unsecure (starting with pages containing passwords fields), could the administrator of thejabberwocky.net switch the forums to HTTPS (e.g. with Let's Encrypt) and checking that its configuration is secure?

Re: Talking Festival 2017
The 2017 thread is now up. A few comments on my part on some of the proposed locations: Scandinavia I agree with the other posters - the scenery is nice and the major airports there are at an acceptable distance. Italy I might be a bit biased here ;) but I agree with Mav. If Italy is chosen, I'm wi...

Would you mind adding a thread in Curtis Forum to gather interesting places to add to the polls for the 2017 locations?
I'm at work now, but I'll do that this evening.

Unfortunately, I won't be here tonight as I'm not feeling well - I expect to be manning my position tomorrow, though.

Re: United Kingdom + Ireland: Fall 2016 [November 5th and 6th]
I've got in touch with FGUK, here's what Warty told me: Hi Warty, . . . . I assume you will also be using the callsigns listed in your forum profiles? Pretty much so, though one exception I can think of is that StuartC normally uses WF01 as a callsign. FGUK also tend not to be exclusive - i.e.: anyo...

Re: United Kingdom + Ireland: Fall 2016 [November 5th and 6th]
I'd also suggest ignoring FGUK pilots participating in the Guy Fawkes event (they do not like flying under ATC guidance at all). They have published the AI scenario and flightplan they are going to use during their event , I have also asked them for the callsigns they are using so that we can keep F...
