Where can I find that pid file? I am having same problems too, FG crashes at startup after loading the sceneries, without crash report or the console, I don't know WTF happened

Progress halted temporaroly, for the buildings, I upgraded my FlightGear to 2016.3.1 last night and poof, it wont work, it crashes after loading the scenery, I went to FGrun, to see what the problem is on console, the console wont show, and also the same problem, neither the crash report showed up, ...

One thing, the "L" button on my flightgear ufo is completely useless, since fg crashes when I press that button to add shared objects, and that's the reason why the objects from my FG is static
