Re: No need to give up
I read about this outrageous takeoff, but the article didn't have the picture! Wow! That did a number on the wall. It's a miracle it didn't take the whole plane down with the impact. Those 737s are tough ol' so-and-sos, arent' they!

For Development Purposes Only: The Server Map
Hey Everyone-- Does anybody have the scoop on why the FG Server Online Map now has "For Development Purposes Only" scrawled over it and Google says it can't load the map? Also, you probably have noticed without the regular map, the option to add streets and geographical information is lost...

Re: Baggage Blues
@IH-COL-- You've been through KSFO more than once, I would guess. And, yeah, nearly all of the "adventures" I've had there have been weather-related. And they were busy Monday night. I was out at Gate 78 in the United concourse and saw probably close to 50 planes taxi by, or land. They wer...

Baggage Blues
I suspect that nearly all of us have airports we like and others we want to avoid--maybe even like the plague. Since I just had another encounter? episode? danged inconvenient result of having flown through it? Anyway, I'm once again pretty much disgusted, I thought I'd let off some steam and rant a...

Re: Grand World Tour
Keith-- Thank you for setting this up! I've been missing our multiplayer events and hoping someone would start a new project. I will participate as often as I can! This sounds like great fun!

Re: World's Challenging Approaches -8 |PAJN|26-05-2018|16:00Z |
Hi everyone! I am planning to participate this Saturday. I'll be flying the the newest version of the MD-10. Josh (it0uchpods) has been working on it from the ground up and it flies beautifully! It's still a work in progress, so some flightdeck items are not yet operational, but everything necessary...

@swamp-- No, the project is not moving at all. I'd encourage you to feel free to go ahead with your P-3 project. We were hoping to eventually build an Orion. No need to wait!

Re: FlightGear Developers Wanted
IMHO, good sim-plane flight testing is a cooperative effort between the developer and the tester. In developing the MD-11 and MD-10, it0uchpods and I have developed a set of procedures that gives him the feedback he is looking for. Several others testing IDG aircraft are using the same process, so t...

Sounds like great fun! French Air Force included. I plan to attend. Will decide on plane and report later.
