I'll start getting going around 20:30, to be in the air in time.
Kind regards, Vincent

Re: When 'psycho' automation left this pilot powerless
It becomes clear now where you guys get the nonsense from: video games (the youtube film) and the o so trustworthy wiki written by people like you. Now, for the 777 FCOM: There is no AoA protection. What does exist is that the trim-for-speed will not let you trim below a certain speed. So if you are...

Re: When 'psycho' automation left this pilot powerless
Sorry, but you are incorrect. The 777's FlyByWire works exactly the same. So let me explain what FlyByWire actually means: Control inputs go to computers, which go to the hydraulic actuators on the flight surfaces. The Airbus' Flight Control Laws, however, are different from Boeing. Thanks for that...

Re: When 'psycho' automation left this pilot powerless
See, there is the problem with you fanboys (apple and wecsje). You are already brainwashed by airbus. Even blindly repeating the lies about Boeing, that they would have FBW as idiotic as Airbus. They do not. Boeings have virtually no FBW, so there is, never was and never will be a problem with it. O...

Re: When 'psycho' automation left this pilot powerless
the flight crew switched FBW to alternate law There is no switch for that, so they must have stood up to pull some circuit breakers. According to many in the AirAsia case this is illegal. So i suppose the crew is in jail now. Or is it allowed for crews who are trained to actually fly the plane? the...

Re: The Festival of FlightGear, November '17
or do it on our own server That would be silly. The whole idea of a festival is to fly all together. For very differing operations, just do not choose locations too close together. I am sure Italy is riddled with military bases, so i think you can find one not directly next to a controlled airport....

Re: Jomo is no more
Great IAHM-COL, Jomo ends at 23:00 utc. So arrival time must be well before that, like 22:00 utc. What would be departure at Palermo be then? 20:00 utc?
Kind regards, Vincent

Re: Jomo is no more
Hi Jomo, Nice to see you here, welcome. Do not bother too much about Lydiot. He is our dirty language teacher. He can trod on a bit too much, resulting in that most people see him as wallpaper. @IAHM-COL So we'll have Jomo sunday evening. Maybe you can plan (with Jomo) a nice excursion in a mini-gam...
